Data Center Project Architect, DC Design Engineering

Lead the architectural design of prototypical data center facilities in the Americas region to ensure resilience and cost-effectiveness. Manage external design consultants and coordinate with internal engineering teams to maintain design standards and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation
- Maintenance of Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural elements
- Review and inform design RFPs
- Manage our external design consultants through the design and construction process
- Coordinate with internal and external Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and Cabling design engineers
Requirements
- 4+ years of project management or project lead work
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- 3+ years of data center or mission-critical facilities experience
- NCARB recognized architecture license
- 7+ years of design experience in commercial / industrial / other complex technical projects
