Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

Responsible for designing resilient and cost-effective electrical distribution systems for global data centers from concept to construction. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing equipment submittals, and supporting site commissioning and turnover.
Responsibilities
- Designing data center electrical systems
- Collaborating with other disciplines to create a construction document set
- Creating designs which meet or exceed quality requirements and fall within budgetary requirements
- Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements
- Defining project scope and providing technical support for information requests
- Traveling to sites for site review and working with onsite field engineers
Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods
