The Senior Product Designer will craft meaningful products for developers, focusing on improving user journeys and the overall user experience. They are responsible for leading the design function in their product area, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating with engineering to ship experiments.
Responsibilities
- Crafting successful, meaningful products that help thousands of developers deliver better applications
- Using AI daily to move faster, think bigger, and ship with more confidence
- Collaborating with other disciplines to create a construction document set
- Creating designs which meet or exceed quality requirements and fall within budgetary requirements
- Working with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements
- Defining project scope and providing technical support for information requests
- Mentoring junior members of the design team
Requirements
- 5+ years of SaaS design experience for technical, developer, or enterprise products
- Proficiency with AI-assisted design and development tools
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and developer tooling
- Ability to translate complex technical flows into simple experiences
- Strong communication of design rationale
- A bias toward experimentation
- Experience conducting user research and using data analysis to inform decisions
- A portfolio that demonstrates sophisticated and creative UX solutions to technical problems
