Support the design of intuitive user interfaces and digital features for ÖBB sales applications across web, app, and ticket machines. Create wireframes, design concepts, and UI kits while assisting in the execution of usability tests.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of intuitive interfaces, user interfaces, and digital features
- Collaborate in the development and visualization of ideas for innovative digital sales solutions with a direct contribution to the user experience
- Create wireframes, screen flows, and initial design concepts in close cooperation with experienced colleagues and interdisciplinary teams
- Support the creation and further development of design components, UI kits, and documentation for development
- Accompany the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of usability tests to better understand real user needs
- Take on own topics and responsibilities with the opportunity to grow professionally and personally
Requirements
- Completed or nearly completed training in UX design, interaction design, graphic/web design, media design, or a comparable field of study
- Ideally studying at a university (uni/FH) with a focus on design, digital media, or related disciplines
- A meaningful portfolio with study, project, or practical work is an advantage
- First practical experience in UX/UI design, e.g., through internships, study projects, or initial professional experience
- Basic understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Knowledge of common design tools, ideally Figma
- Interest in digital products, technical contexts, and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
- Creativity, willingness to learn, and a good sense of user-friendly solutions
