UI/UX Designer II

The role involves designing intuitive user interfaces and interactive elements to drive engagement and retention for millions of students. You will conduct user research and build testable prototypes while collaborating with Art, Engineering, and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Design Intuitive Interfaces: Develop layouts, transitions, and button placements that make user navigation seamless and joyful
- Data-Driven Iteration: Conduct user research and interviews to translate player needs into high-fidelity designs
- Rapid Prototyping: Build testable prototypes to validate ideas quickly and fail fast or scale effectively
- Behavioral Design: Apply principles of behavioral psychology to influence player engagement and monetization strategies
- Collaborative Excellence: Partner with Art, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure a seamless blend of functionality and brand aesthetics
Requirements
- Proven experience in Interaction Design and Visual Design within a digital product or gaming environment
- Skilled in conducting user research and synthesizing data into actionable design insights
- Proficiency with standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- A strong understanding of behavioral economics and how it impacts user behavior
- A collaborative mindset with a desire to give and receive radical candor during design reviews
