Innovation and Design Engineer, World Wide Design Engineering (WWDE)

Design high-quality, cost-effective fulfillment and distribution systems from concept through design approval. Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to implement automated material handling and robotics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems
- Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval
- Be our suppliers' primary point of technical contact for your projects
- Hand-off the project to our Ops Engineering team who will oversee the installation and commissioning of the project
- Continue engaging with that team to ensure that the system you've designed is successfully installed, commissioned and launched
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics or related fields, or a Associate's degree or above and experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate
