The founding designer will own the end-to-end look and feel of Adapt across all product, brand, and marketing surfaces. Responsibilities include building a code-backed design system and conducting customer discovery to drive design decisions.

- High-quality execution of design work
- Shipping frequently and consistently
- Owning the look and feel of Adapt across every surface
- Building the design system
- Customer discovery and understanding pain points
- Strong internal and external communication
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of professional design experience
- Experience working at an early stage startup
- Expertise in Figma, with fluency in modern prototyping methods
- Comfort writing front-end code — HTML/CSS/Tailwind at minimum, ideally React
- A portfolio that shows real range: shipped product surfaces, brand identity work, marketing pages, illustration or motion, and a point of view on each
