Graphic Designer & Production Assistant

Create and modify full-color graphics and vinyl outputs for printing and mounting on various substrates. Manage the production process by operating printers and plotters while ensuring accuracy and material correctness.
Responsibilities
- Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
- Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements
- Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output (printers, cutter, etc.)
- Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
- Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
- Learn to run printers, plotter, etc.
- Load materials on to machines
Requirements
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience in a sign company
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
