Product Designer I

Lead design initiatives for software modules by translating user stories into functional business requirements and simple design concepts. Create prototypes and storyboards to optimize user experience and communicate product features across departments.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead design initiatives for the company's software modules
- Work with Product Management to define and prioritize user stories and functional business requirements
- Translate user stories into functional business requirements and simple, easy-to-use design concepts
- Work with Engineering and Product Management teams to define, analyze, and prototype software solutions
- Create and document storyboards and prototypes illustrating product features and business workflows
- Provide elegant and simple design solutions that offer enhanced functionality while maintaining the integrity of the existing products
- Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite system / software complexity
- Identify opportunities to optimize the UX of the company's products
- Deliver enjoyable User Experience visions, accurate UI specifications, and prototypes
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in User Experience / User Interface design
- Strong understanding of UX / UI Design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to receive constructive critique of work and use it to improve quality
- Strong persuasive communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Strong working knowledge of Figma
- Experience working with AI design/vibe tools, like Lovable
- Experience contributing to design systems / component libraries
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of the MSP (technology Managed Service Provider) space is a plus
