Junior Product Designer Taschen & Softgoods (m|w|d)

Support the development of seasonal collections and new bag products through trend analysis, moodboards, and technical drawings. Coordinate with international suppliers and internal quality management to ensure product specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Support in the development of seasonal collections and new products
• Creation of mood boards, trend analyses, as well as color and print concepts as a basis for collection development
• Development of bag designs, technical drawings, and first product concepts
• Creation of print designs
• Selection and coordination of materials, colors, and lab dips in close cooperation with product development
• Creation of technical documents and product-relevant information for suppliers
• Communication and coordination with international suppliers during the entire development process
• Support in organizational and administrative tasks within the design process
• Close cooperation with the departments product development and quality management

Requirements

• Completed degree in design or a comparable education
• First professional experience (about 1-2 years) in a comparable position in the design area, ideally in the field of bags or accessories
• High affinity to design, fashion, and trends, as well as a good sense for colors, materials, and shapes
• Creative, structured, and careful working method with a high quality standard and attention to detail
• Teamwork, initiative, and a hands-on mentality
• Secure handling of MS Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of CLO 3D is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills in word and writing
