The designer will create intuitive product personalization and compatibility verification flows for both customers and selling partners within Amazon's marketplace. Responsibilities include delivering high-fidelity prototypes, conducting user research, and ensuring consistency with internal design systems across mobile and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive product personalization flows integrated into Amazon's marketplace
  • Create progressive disclosure patterns that manage technical complexity for both novice and expert users
  • Design real-time compatibility verification experiences with clear, non-technical explanations
  • Develop smart filtering systems that dynamically adjust based on user selections
  • Design budget optimization interfaces with transparent cost breakdowns
  • Create inventory management, promotion optimization, and collaborative planning tools for vendors and retail teams
  • Deliver high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, usability testing plans, stakeholder presentations, and responsive specifications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
  • Experience prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
  • Experience designing and prototyping with HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
  • Experience with e-commerce
  • Experience using data visualization tools
  • 2+ years of B2B environment experience
  • Proven ability to drive end-to-end design with minimal supervision
