Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

Own the patterns, flows, and component compositions for the Thumbprint design system across iOS, Android, and web. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure consistency, maintain parity between Figma and code, and evolve the system for AI-driven workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the patterns, flows, and component compositions that power product experiences across iOS, Android, and web
- Design and ship reusable components with a high bar for craft
- Define and maintain platform-native interaction patterns that make the product feel cohesive and intentional across surfaces
- Evolve the design system over time to keep pace with modern UI patterns, platform conventions, and the changing needs of the product
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience, with meaningful time owning or evolving a design system at a product company
- Deep familiarity with platform conventions across iOS, Android, and web
- High craft bar for visual design and component work
- Expert-level Figma skills, including component architecture, variables, tokens, and auto-layout
- Comfortable working across the design-to-code workflow
