The role involves conceptualizing and designing user-centric experiences for native iOS and Android apps, from wireframes to final UI. It also includes conducting qualitative and quantitative research and maintaining the design system to ensure seamless handoffs to development.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualization and design of user-centered app experiences for fluege.de native apps (iOS & Android)
- Independent planning and execution of qualitative (usability tests) and quantitative (A/B tests, UX KPIs) research and testing methods
- Development and maintenance of the design system with a focus on native app components
- Ensuring a smooth design handoff: platform-specific specification, annotation, and close collaboration with iOS and Android development
Requirements
- Completed degree in UX, Interaction, or Digital Design, or comparable professional experience
- Proven experience in designing native mobile applications (iOS and Android), including a solid understanding of Apple HIG and Material Design
- Secure handling of Figma, including working with and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Understanding of UX KPIs and app analytics, as well as experience with deriving data-based design decisions
