The Product Designer creates intuitive, user-centered digital experiences by conducting user research and developing wireframes and prototypes. They are responsible for maintaining design systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate on functional and visually appealing interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research activities to understand user needs and pain points
- Develop user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize user interactions
- Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces across platforms
- Create and maintain design systems and style guides
- Conduct usability testing and analyze results to iterate on designs
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for web and mobile applications
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
