Sr Product Designer, Growth & Experimentation

Lead the design strategy for growth surfaces such as onboarding and engagement loops to drive user acquisition and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run rapid experiments and integrate AI-driven efficiencies into the design workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design strategy across high-leverage growth surfaces, including onboarding flows, engagement loops, and habit systems
• Translate growth strategy into clear experience direction, exploring and pressure-testing design solutions
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify opportunities across growth surfaces, iterating on experiments to learn quickly and improve core business metrics
• Contribute to Yahoo Mail’s design system, creating and refining growth-related patterns that support scalable, reusable solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing consumer web and mobile products at scale
• Proven track record leading growth, onboarding, or experimentation programs
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered product thinking, polished visual craft, and thoughtful interaction design
• Experience utilizing AI-powered design tools and generative workflows
