Packaging Graphic Designer – Mexico

Responsibilities

• Design packaging that turns heads: Design visually compelling product packaging that reflects Selkirk’s premium brand standards while considering practical requirements like shipping durability and product protection
• Create packaging concepts and prototypes from initial idea through final production
• Refine and iterate designs through stakeholder feedback and collaborative review processes
• Analyze current packaging and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality or brand integrity
• Bring global packaging to life: Coordinate multilingual packaging workflows alongside localization and copywriting partners
• Stay ahead of trends: Research consumer behavior, packaging trends, materials, and emerging design opportunities
• Collaborate across teams: Partner with Product Managers, Marketing, Graphic Design, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional design experience with a strong focus on physical packaging design
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and production considerations
• Experience maintaining and elevating an established brand identity
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for both the big picture and smallest details
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
