Director of Sensor Product Design Engineering

Lead the design, verification, and validation of next-generation image sensor products from specification to delivery. Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams and third-party design services to meet customer and marketing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Translating marketing and customer requirements into comprehensive device and system-level specification
- Liaise with customers to ensure deliverables meet or exceed specification and expectation
- Full ownership of product design, verification, and validation
- Revising and updating existing products
- Developing next generation of products
- Managing multi-disciplinary design engineering teams
- Management of 3rd party design services for product designs
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in image sensor product design
- Deep understanding of design, development, and manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of image sensor architecture, signal processing, and characterization
- Strong technical leadership and guidance to design engineering team
- Hands-on design experience with leading image sensor products
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor technical professionals
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships with internal and external partners
- BS and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience is required
- MSEE or PhD is preferred
