Lead and mentor a team of design engineers supporting aerospace heat exchanger product lines and MRO programs. Oversee the full product lifecycle from requirements and 3D CAD development to validation and certification compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical/design engineers
- Oversee the full product lifecycle
- Drive engineering execution across development and production
- Provide technical leadership and problem resolution for complex engineering issues
- Manage engineering change processes
- Apply data-driven analysis
- Ensure designs meet specifications, material/process standards, and performance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering or related field
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card
- Minimum of 5 yearsâ work experience in heat exchanger, thermal systems, or aerospace mechanical design
- Strong background in reverse engineering and sustaining engineering for manufacturing environments
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and engineering documentation practices
- Solid understanding of FAA regulatory requirements and approved data processes
