UX Designer
Accenture Federal Services 🇺🇸 Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America
The UX Designer will create intuitive and accessible digital experiences using a structured user-centered design process. They will also contribute to technical system evaluations, modernization recommendations, and system optimization using mathematical modeling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews
- Develop information architecture and translate insights into clear interaction designs
- Perform usability and accessibility testing
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional and Agile development teams
- Manage and contribute to design systems
- Contribute to the technical evaluation of systems
- Assist with analysis of specialized applications
- Provide insights on architectures, automation, risk management, and software lifecycle best practices
Requirements
- Experience conducting user research, stakeholder interviews, and gathering requirements
- Strong skills in information architecture and interaction design
- Hands-on experience performing usability and accessibility testing
- Proficiency applying a full user-centered design process
- Expertise creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and Agile development teams
- Ability to manage and contribute to design systems
- Technical knowledge of specialized applications and operational environments
- Experience with systems analysis, integration, documentation, and solution recommendations
- Strong understanding of information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, and software lifecycle management
- Ability to apply mathematical and modeling principles to technical problem-solving
- Familiarity with both modern and legacy technologies relevant to UX and system design
