Lead and manage a high-performing design team while directly executing major design projects as an individual contributor. Partner with Product and R&D teams to implement AI-augmented methodologies and automate the design-to-code pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small, high-performing design team
- Partner across Design, Product, and R&D to transform how we work together
- Directly own and drive major design projects as an individual contributor
- Apply a comprehensive understanding of a product's lifecycle, from research and prototyping to design and usability testing
- Contribute as a member of the design team and promote winning ideas and decisions
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2C/SMB/B2B experience in world-class products
- Technical mindset and strong hands-on experience leveraging AI tools
- At least 2 years of experience in team leadership and/or people management
- A strong portfolio that effectively showcases skills
- Expert-level mastery of design systems and optimizing them to streamline R&D implementation
- Exceptional communication skills
- Fluent in English - verbal and written
