Sr. Software Manager, Design Engineering

Lead multiple high-performance software teams in developing firmware for AI compute and storage products. Drive New Product Initiatives (NPI) and manage strategic direction, budgeting, and executive-level customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple programs and teams developing firmware and software for Celestica's products
- Set the strategic direction for the team and drive the New Product Initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for timely delivery of products with the highest quality
- Coach and mentor technical leads/architects/managers and work with them on objective setting and professional development initiatives
- Interact with executives and major customers, responding to technical and non-technical requirements and potential problems/escalations
- Set yearly budgets, plans, and goals for the team, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback
Requirements
- 17+ years of experience with a minimum 10 years of experience as manager/Senior Manager/Director
- Prior hands-on experience with LINUX Kernel/drivers, PCIe, BMC, BIOS/BSP, CPU/GPU based compute server firmware development
- AI workload/Orchestration, Networking, Data path knowledge
- Strong SW engineering and product development experience
- Bachelor degree or higher education in Engineering
