Staff Engineer, Electronic Design Engineering

Design high-performance storage enclosures and servers, managing the full PCBA design cycle from specifications to verification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international suppliers to ensure products meet regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of enterprise class storage enclosures and servers
- Be responsible for the development of PCBAs through the entire design cycle
- Work closely with other organizations within Western Digital, including product management, procurement, quality, and manufacturing engineering
- Conduct design and feature reviews, be accountable for tracking schedules, issues and resolutions
- Work with international suppliers and manufacturing locations
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- At least 0-5+ years of PCBA development experience in computing, storage or related fields
- Be well organized with strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work individually, and as a team member, to ensure commitments are met
