The role involves transforming complex tasks into intuitive user experiences for Google's help center and support systems. You will collaborate with engineering and product management to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
- Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements
- Partner with user research and cross-functional teams to evolve the Google design language and build beautiful, innovative products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design
- Experience with systems-level thinking and working with cross-functional product and engineering teams
- Experience with prototyping and working alongside user research
