Sign Production Graphic Designer

Create and prepare signage and large-format graphics for various applications including banners and vehicle graphics. Coordinate with customers and coworkers to manage the proofing and approval process while operating production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Layout and design signs according to written instructions
- Complete or modify designs from customer drawings and files
- Coordinate with co-workers and customers to expedite the proofing, revision, and artwork approval process
- Adhere to guidelines for preparing print-ready files and sending jobs to printers
- Prepare and operate vinyl cutting equipment for production
- Perform quality assurance measures by accurately reading and interpreting work orders
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of graphic design experience
- Adobe Illustrator required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience preparing large-format print files preferred
- Knowledge of vinyl cutting, bleed, scaling, and print setup a plus
- Experience with sign industry software or RIP software preferred
