UI/UX Designer (Part Time)

The designer will create intuitive interfaces, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct user research and maintain consistent design systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for web and mobile applications
- Design high-fidelity UI mockups aligned with brand guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine designs
- Perform usability testing and iterating based on feedback
- Maintain and evolve design systems for consistency across products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3â7 years of experience in UI/UX design or a related role
- US citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance (Level T3)
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design
- Experience with responsive design and WCAG accessibility standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to commute and work on-site in Washington, DC
