The role focuses on implementing a portal by conducting user research, creating wireframes, and developing interactive prototypes. The designer will translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences and validate designs through iterative user testing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and establish a shared vision
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for intuitive user experiences
- Balance product strategy and functionality to align with business objectives and user needs
- Validate designs through user testing and iterate based on feedback
- Harmonise processes and user experience journeys by translating user needs and business requirements into design outcomes
- Clearly present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and user-centric thinking
- Ensure consistency and efficiency by maximising design methods, processes, and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in user research, product design, and UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design skills
- Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools such as InVision or Figma
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving skills and a user-centric mindset
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous requirements and environments
- Proficient in user-centred design frameworks/ design thinking
