Connectivity Engineer - Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction

Manage the full project life-cycle of data center connectivity projects, ensuring they are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Act as the technical field lead for installation methods and coordinate between design teams and on-site contractors.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Control - Create, maintain, and report on site project and program scope, schedules, and milestones
- Forecasting - Support project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts as required
- Technical Reviews - Establish milestones for equipment purchase and track and report against these milestones
- Metrics - Report progress and risks on site projects and other initiatives to key stakeholders
- Workflow - Work with installation partners to establish and track milestones
- Vendor Field Management - Responsible for all connectivity activities (OSP/ISP) within construction, projects on site
- Quality Assurance - Perform physical inspections to ensure vendor work meets DEC quality standards
- Technical Field Lead - Technical lead for industry and Meta standards
- Technical Coordination - Develop solutions to in-field scope-gap or clash issues
- Communications & Cross-functional team engagement - Liaise with construction partners to ensure deliverables are met during new builds and retrofits
- Safety - Ensure that vendors adhere to safety obligations in accordance with local regulations and DEC Safety best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in project management
- Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders
- Experience providing solutions to construction-related problems
- Experience with MS Office and Google Suites
