Senior UI Designer

Design pixel-perfect responsive interfaces and digital brand identities to improve user experience and increase conversion for eCommerce clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX consultants, product managers, and developers to execute scalable design systems.
Responsibilities
- Create digital brand look and feel, and design pixel perfect responsive interfaces for clients
- Have experience of working with design systems to create design work at scale
- Produce work of the highest standard that will impress clients and resonate within the eCom landscape
- Be hands-on and willing to work in a fast paced, ever-moving environment
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advances in technology, design trends and tooling
- Communicate design ideas and solutions to clients and other members of the team
- Work closely with stakeholders, fellow designers, UX consultants, product managers, and developers
Requirements
- Ability to contribute to and evolve a design system
- Understanding of component logic, variants, properties
- Demonstrable eCommerce experience
- Experience with design tokens
- Responsive behaviour logic
- Excellent design skills, proficient in Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable working across multiple brands and visual identities
- Collaboration with developers on handover and implementation realities
- Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage own projects and to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
- Able to multi-task, with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Able to present concepts and design decisions
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
- Passion for technology and web-based applications
- Experience working in a digital or creative agency or in-house design studio
- Experience presenting to clients
- Degree educated in Graphic/UI design or similar discipline
- Compelling portfolio that demonstrates high quality design online, including eCommerce
- Outstanding eye for design and typography
