Product Designer, Marketplace

The Product Designer will create customer-centric experiences for the Marketplace team, turning complex problems into intuitive user interfaces. They will lead product visions and collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the product roadmap and measure success through data.
Responsibilities
- Designs customer-centric experiences with measurable business impact
- Partners closely with fellow designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and marketers to lead product visions, define strategies, shape the product roadmap, and develop design solutions
- Uses research and qualitative data to guide design and development decisions
- Develops a deep understanding of customers and pros while focusing on key metrics
- Rapidly produces multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
- Tests, learns, and iterates; solves existing problems and discovers new opportunities through experimentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall product design experience
- Portfolio with a history of impactful projects that showcase your design process
- Demonstrate strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills along with a human-centric approach to designing products
- Ability to balance high-quality craft and crisp execution with agility, speed to learning, and iterative experimentation
- A bias for action and understanding of how your work impacts users and the business
- Experience designing and implementing customer experiences that have led to measurable and sustainable growth results
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in prototyping, with experience creating interactive prototypes to test and validate product concepts
