Define and architect advanced digital signal processing and communication system solutions for next-generation ASIC-based optical transceivers. This includes performing bit-accurate modeling, simulation, and conducting ASIC lab testing and performance validation.
Responsibilities
- Design specifications, architecture, and micro-architecture for advanced signal processing and communication algorithms
- Define and document chip-level requirements, architecture, verification strategies, and lab test plans
- Perform bit-accurate modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
- Build and execute system-level transceiver simulation suites, including vector matching verification against RTL simulations
- Conduct ASIC lab testing, debugging, and performance validation
Requirements
- Master's degree with 3-8 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 0-5 years of experience
- Strong foundation in Communication Theory and Digital Signal Processing algorithms
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Unix, and Linux environments
- Familiarity with analog circuit behavior, transmission line theory, and s-parameters
