Senior UX Designer (6 month contract)

Design the user interaction and information architecture for a data collection and model training platform for general purpose robots. Partner with engineering, product, and research teams to optimize workflows for high-performance ML policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of robotic data collection and model training workflows, delivering clear proposals for optimizing workflows with intuitive user experiences
- Leverage prior experience in data-intensive applications to ensure automated tracking of progress as we teach our robots new skills
- Grow expertise in multimodal data visualization, ML and robotics UX, and workflow design for technical users while influencing long-term design strategy
- Mentor others by modeling systems-level design thinking, communicating UX impact across teams, and ensuring user needs remain central to platform evolution
Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of real world design experience in a commercial organization
- A track record of technical excellence and successful design projects
