Lead end-to-end design for MapMy's mobile and web experiences while establishing an AI-accelerated design practice. You will own the design system, drive the research agenda, and mentor other designers to raise the overall craft bar.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design across MapMy's mobile and web experiences
- Define and evolve an AI-accelerated design practice
- Build functional, interactive prototypes quickly to validate concepts with real users and stakeholders
- Own the MapMy design system and component library
- Drive the research agenda in partnership with Product
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to align design strategy with business goals
Requirements
- 7+ years shipping consumer-facing mobile or web products
- Expert Figma proficiency and fluent, daily use of AI tools in design workflow
- Deep understanding of iOS, Android, and responsive web design principles
- Track record of collaborating with senior Product, Engineering, and Data leaders in an agile environment
- Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale and tradeoffs to executive and cross-functional audiences
