UX Designer - Design Systems

Hybrid $4,500 - $5,500 Full-time Senior

The role involves owning and adapting the enterprise design system, specifically integrating AI tooling and token-aware surfaces. You will create prototypes, define usage guidelines, and collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure system scalability and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt the design system to enable accurate prototyping with AI tooling
  • Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery
  • Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions
  • Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders
  • Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system
  • Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional UX design experience
  • Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field
  • Deep knowledge of design systems
  • Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions
  • Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation
  • Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility
