The role involves designing, testing, and optimizing mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components. Responsibilities include refining control algorithms, troubleshooting system performance, and ensuring compliance with GxP and SOP standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and optimize mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components
  • Analyze data, refine control algorithms, and support automation and intelligent systems development
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system performance issues
  • Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards, including GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality control
  • Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to overall organizational compliance
  • Commit to continuous improvement in operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field)
  • 5 years' experience in designing high precision, automated production equipment
  • Hands-on building experience
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (must have) and PDM (preferred)
  • GD&T and engineering drawing competency
  • Accountability and ownership up to and including post transfer
  • Automation Engineers or Industrial Automation Engineers background, or Mechatronics background is considered highly beneficial
  • Commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
