Lead and prioritize the daily workflow for a small prepress graphic design team in a manufacturing environment. Balance hands-on technical engineering work with team supervision and cross-functional collaboration to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize daily work for a 2-3 person Prepress Graphic Design team
- Ensure all membrane switch designs meet customer specifications and manufacturing requirements
- Coordinate and track engineering job flow to meet production deadlines
- Stay hands-on by completing prepress and engineering work, including complex jobs
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve quality and efficiency
- Communicate job status and issues with internal teams and customers
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Requirements
- 3-5 years of membrane switch manufacturing or prepress design experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD
- Strong organizational and communication skills
