Own the end-to-end design of Kindle reading experiences from early concept to launch. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate complex customer problems into elegant, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and work closely with product management, engineering, and research from design concept to design solution
  • Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Earn trust with product managers to develop shared vision and use research and data to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • Work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged and design acumen is demonstrated through design end-to-end product ownership

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of UX design experience
  • Strong portfolio of end-to-end product work
  • Fluency in tools like Figma
  • Experience using AI in the design process
  • Experience designing for consumer hardware or mobile platforms
  • Background in reading apps, content discovery, or e-readers
