Develop transformative AI/ML and robotics systems to revolutionize facility design and deployment across a global fulfillment network. Responsibilities include creating internal tooling for efficiency, contributing to product roadmaps, and mentoring multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement strategic technical solutions of AI/ML systems, autonomous robotics, and quality automation solutions
- Identify and develop internal tooling to assist with departmental efficiencies
- Contribute to product roadmaps and drive cross-functional execution priorities
- Identify and analyze tradeoffs between software design alternatives
- Write status and build reports for cross-functional leadership review
- Mentor engineers and share best practices across multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders
- Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
- 5+ years of development/programming/scripting language experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience, or Bachelor's degree within last 12 months in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of building complex software systems experience
