Electrical Design Engineering Manager 2 (AHT)

Lead a multidisciplinary team of electrical engineers in the design, development, and integration of complex electrical subsystems for missile systems. Manage department budgets, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps while ensuring compliance with performance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Directing, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary team of up to 15 electrical engineers
• Setting performance objectives, conducting regular reviews, and creating career-development plans
• Allocating resources, prioritizing work, and managing schedules and budgets for both digital-integration and electrical-engineering programs
• Collaborating with engineering leadership, peer managers, and program managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field of study with 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in defense or aerospace
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Leader, managing teams of 10 or more multi-disciplined engineering personnel
• Experience with engineering development and transition-to-production
• Experience with PWB design rules and techniques for CCAs with 20 layers count from initial prototype to production
• Current US Government Secret security clearance
