Product Designer, Mobile
United States Soccer Federation 1 Remote (🇺🇸 Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America)
The Product Designer will own the end-to-end design of U.S. Soccer's mobile applications for iOS and Android. This includes defining the design direction, creating core flows, and collaborating with engineering to ship intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of U.S. Soccer's mobile application across iOS and Android, owning the experience from vision through launch and ongoing iteration
- Define the design direction for the app, including information architecture, core flows, navigation patterns, and visual language
- Translate complex requirements from across the Federation into clear, intuitive mobile experiences
- Apply native iOS and Android design patterns and platform conventions while maintaining a coherent U.S. Soccer brand experience across both platforms
- Conduct user research with members, fans, and Federation staff and translate findings into product decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of expertise, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of professional product design experience, with a meaningful portion focused on shipping native mobile applications (iOS, Android, or both)
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interaction design, and end-to-end mobile product thinking
- Strong working knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
- Proficiency in Figma, including building and maintaining mobile components, variants, and tokens, and creating prototypes that communicate motion and interaction
