Drive UX design for key sharing flows and translate user needs into compelling designs through journeys, mockups, and prototypes. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate user feedback and business requirements into product updates.
Responsibilities
- Drive UX design for key sharing flows and establish partnerships with third-party apps
- Translate user needs into compelling designs through user journeys, storyboards, low/high-fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specifications, and interactive prototypes
- Collaborate with Google Photos and other Google Product teams across time zones to develop solutions
- Simplify concepts into relatable narratives that represent real user experiences
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX)
- 4 years of experience interacting with clients/leadership and owning projects
- Experience in designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- 4 years of experience in designing for consumer-facing products (preferred)
- Experience with motion design and quick prototyping (preferred)
- Knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (preferred)
