Create intuitive and accessible digital learning experiences for K-12 students, educators, and administrators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user insights into scalable designs and maintain the company's design system.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered solutions that improve learning, teaching, and administrative workflows
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile workstreams to deliver sprint outcomes and business objectives
- Collaborate with researchers and data partners to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions
- Apply and contribute to the Discovery Education design system and component library
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products in an Agile development environment
- Proficiency with modern product design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Experience designing complex workflows and multi-persona experiences
