Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

The Graphic Designer creates compelling visual assets for print and digital platforms to enhance the university's brand identity. They collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistent messaging and visual standards across all materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute graphic design projects that align with DBU's mission, vision, and values
• Create visually compelling design assets, including social media graphics, flyers, brochures, event materials, and other marketing collateral
• Collaborate with the social media team to produce on-brand visual content tailored to each platform's specifications and audience
• Support the development and maintenance of DBU's visual brand standards, ensuring consistency in typography, color, imagery, and layout
• Assist in building and executing design components of content calendars, coordinating deliverables around campaigns, events, and key university dates

Requirements

• Understanding of the mission and goals of Dallas Baptist University
• Demonstrated skills in graphic design, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
• Proven experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of creative work
• Strong visual communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts and messaging into compelling design
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design software
