Intern UI/UX Designer (Remote)
Type B Digital Remote (🇱🇰 Colombo, Colombo District, Sri Lanka)
Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma to create wireframes and prototypes. Collaborate with developers and senior designers to maintain design systems and improve overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual mockups using Figma
- Support user research, usability testing, and design feedback sessions
- Help maintain and contribute to our internal design system and component libraries
- Collaborate closely with developers and senior designers to ensure design accuracy and consistency
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and bring creative ideas to improve the user experience
- Stay up to date with current design trends, UX best practices, and emerging tools
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and usability fundamentals
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus)
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
- Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow within a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A portfolio or project samples that demonstrate your design thinking and creativity (academic or personal projects are welcome)
