The Architectural Design Engineer will prepare architectural designs with a strong sustainability focus and integrate passive design principles. They will coordinate with various teams to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural designs across concept, schematic, design development, and execution stages with a strong sustainability focus
- Integrate passive design principles such as orientation, shading, daylighting, ventilation, and thermal performance
- Coordinate architectural planning to support energy efficiency, water efficiency, and low-carbon design strategies
- Work closely with sustainability, MEP, and landscape teams to ensure integrated design outcomes
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams for seamless design delivery
- Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews to ensure constructability and performance alignment
Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience
- Degree in architecture
- Experience in architectural design and sustainability integration
- Knowledge of passive design principles
- Familiarity with green building principles and regulations
