Product Designer II

Design user flows, prototypes, and UI for the Optimizely Connect Platform, focusing on developer workflows and AI-powered extensions. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical requirements into usable experiences for building and managing integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, prototypes, and final UI for key areas of OCP
- Help shape AI-powered experiences within OCP
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear, usable experiences
- Communicate design intent, trade-offs, and rationale to cross-functional partners
- Participate in discovery activities including customer interviews, workflow mapping, research synthesis, and problem framing
- Support iterative validation through prototyping, usability testing, and feedback loops with internal and external users
- Work with fellow designers to maintain and evolve design patterns and system components for platform and developer-facing experiences
Requirements
- 3-4 years of design experience working on digital products or SaaS platforms
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing logic-heavy or systems-oriented product experiences
- Ability to connect design decisions to user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with component libraries or design systems
