College Intern - Design Engineering

The intern will perform engineering calculations for electric distribution systems, including voltage drop, fault current, and structural analysis. They will also assist with design reviews, service requests, and field observations to validate designs.
Responsibilities
- Perform voltage drop and voltage flicker calculations in support of electric distribution system designs
- Assist with fault current studies, cable pulling calculations, and other engineering design calculations
- Learn and apply SRP engineering standards, design criteria, and construction practices
- Participate in field observations to support design validation and gain exposure to construction and commissioning activities
Requirements
- College level coursework from an accredited institution
- Preferred education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelorās degree program in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
- Preferred experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to work in a team environment
