System Design Engineering Integrated Project Team (IPT) Lead

Lead a cross-functional system design team for project PELE, managing schedules, budgets, and technical challenges. Coordinate with procurement, quality, and suppliers to ensure components meet technical and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of project schedules and budgets for System Design work scope
• Coordinate System Design activities with the rest of the project team
• Facilitate identification and resolution of technical challenges
• Review Design Change Requests (DCR) for impacts to systems under the purview of System Design Engineering
• Collaborate with Procurement Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure purchased components meet technical, cost, delivery, and quality requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or similar discipline)
• 7+ years of related work experience
• Technical background in system design
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to self-direct with minimal day-to-day supervision
