Senior UX Designer, AI Mode

Lead the design of new product ideas and user journeys within AI Mode for Google Search. Collaborate with engineering and product management to create scalable UX patterns and AI-governing principles.
Responsibilities
- Apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution
- Work with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products
- Take ownership of model-driven UI and layout in AI Mode responses, contribute to scalable UX patterns, and design intuitive features that leverage new model capabilities
- Lead projects focused on new product ideas and opportunities within AI Mode
- Use the latest vibe coding tools to power design and prototyping process
- Design user journeys on Google Search and AI Mode
- Work with cross-functional partners to create principles, system instructions, and auto-raters that govern AI experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of design experience in product design or UX design for a consumer-facing product
- Portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work
