Senior Data Centre Design Manager, Data Centre Design Engineering

Lead the design of AWS data centers across the EMEA region, focusing on security, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Manage external design consultants and collaborate with internal engineering and finance teams to deliver high-standard infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation
- Establish capital project design budgets and contribute to complex business cases
- Collaborate with AWS finance teams to secure funding for projects
- Partner with internal customers to establish project scope, schedule, and deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience in project management
