VDC BIM Designer, DC Design Engineering

The role involves creating and maintaining federated BIM models for Amazon Data Centers, focusing on multi-disciplinary coordination and clash resolution. You will collaborate across teams to refine designs and ensure high standards of efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Design challenging and complex projects with innovative solutions for Amazon owned Data Center facilities
- Provide support to the central engineering team through the preparation of federated BIM models and BIM data
- Influence Data Center design documents with multi-disciplinary coordination, clash detection and resolution, constructability reviews, building code compliance, and design optimization
- Produce and maintain coordinated BIM for the fleet of Data Centers
- Work independently and within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination
- Experience with Navisworks
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes
- Experience with Autodesk Forma or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud)
